Our kiln dried logs have been through an intensive drying process to ensure they give the best heat output and ensure they meet the Woodsure ready to burn legislation. These kiln dried hardwood logs are under 15% moisture content rewarding us the 'Ready to Burn' certificate and FSC certification. Our logs are clean and easy to stack.

These logs are tropical hardwoods from the Volta Dam Region in Ghana, Africa. We think these logs are amazing compared to traditional European firewood due to the hardness which results in a high temparature and long burn time. These logs are also the most eco friendly option as they are already dead tree's at the bottom of a lake, all of the sap has left the tree and so cutting them down doesnt affect any wildlife. The logs are cut to various sizes and some logs may require a cut down if you have a particularly small sized stove.

Bulk bag size is 85cm x 85cm x 85cm. Approx. 0.9M3 equivalent loose volume of logs. Although the logs are extremely dry at under 15% moisture content they are very dense and heavy, the bag weighs approx 250Kg.

Delivery is kerbside or the bulk bag is dropped on your property if suitable access for the delivery vehicle.

Local deliveries are often made via crane trailer so the bulk bag can be dropped in the location of your choice (within access of the vehicle). Other postcode area will be deliverd via lorry with tail-lift and pump truck. See image for vehicle dimensions.

  • These logs are sourced from waste timber extracted from the Volta Dam in Ghana. Divers retrieve submerged deadwood, which is then cut and brought to the surface for drying. The salvaged timber is transformed into furniture, while any unusable wood is typically burned due to a lack of alternative purposes. To support this initiative, MyFuels provided log-cutting equipment on loan, enabling the team to convert waste timber into valuable products and create additional employment opportunities in the local community.
